Deleting your account is permanent and can affect the organizations you belong to.
Review the impact first
The Delete Account page shows an Organization Impact section before you confirm anything. Read that section carefully.
Possible outcomes:
- organizations you solely own may be deleted
- organizations with other owners may remain and only your membership is removed
- active subscriptions tied to deleted organizations are canceled as part of the process
Delete your account
Open Account Settings > Delete Account, then start the confirmation flow from the danger section.
The confirmation step can require:
- your account email
- the exact confirmation phrase
- your current password if the account uses password sign-in
What happens after success
- your account is removed
- you are signed out
- memberships are removed from organizations that remain
- any organizations that depend on you as the sole owner can be deleted
If you are unsure about the organization impact, stop there and transfer ownership first.
